As we approach the festive season of Dashain 🪁 and Tihar 🪔, we wish you and your loved ones a joyful and prosperous celebration. May these festivals bring happiness, good health, and success to your lives!

We’re excited to continue fostering a vibrant community and sharing stories, events, and resources celebrating our shared heritage and experiences.

Founder’s Note 🖋️

Hello, and Namaste to everyone!

Thank you for being on this journey over the last two years. So many of you have joined us as members, volunteers, and mentors. I am truly grateful for the love, encouragement, and real feedback.

Here are some highlights:
- We completed 4 seasons of our podcast TGND Beats, Diaspora ka Kurakani where we highlighted successful global Nepalis from diverse professional paths.
- We completed two cohorts of a 16-week virtual incubator for global Nepali entrepreneurs where founders were connected with mentors and investors. On a side note, we have incorporated an early-stage venture capital fund as a separate entity to support underrepresented founders.
- We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daayitwa, the Challengers show, Medharma CliniX, Music Nepal and One to Watch. There are more exciting ones in the pipeline.
- We hosted about 150 events including with the Department of State, the Nepalese Embassy, and the Consulate General of Nepal in New York. Our community got to interact with policymakers, bureaucrats, business leaders, and creatives.
- The community helped people find jobs and internships, get funding, find mentors, close deals and build networks.

We laid the foundation over the last two years and now we’re building on top of it. I hope you will continue to support us as we shape this community of doers.

Best Wishes,

Preeti
